Get the most out of your PMS with our themed trainings.

Do you have a question about Booking Experts? If so, it goes to the Customer Success Team. By analysing these questions, we concluded that many users are interested in the same topics and that many are not fully utilising the BEX PMS. What a shame! That’s why we started BEX Educate. Through BEX Educate, we offer specific topic trainings as well as Receptionist trainings. During the Receptionist trainings, we cover the most frequently asked questions, highlight the most important features, and answer any queries. The themed trainings are more specific and explore topics such as Price Lists, Sales Optimisation, or Owners in greater depth. But why do we organise these trainings, and what makes them so effective?

'The sharing of knowledge between participants is very valuable'

Iris, who is part of the Customer Success Team, explains: 'Because we have chosen to conduct the trainings only in person, the dynamics between users themselves are also very valuable. This allows them to discuss the subject with each other and to learn from each other's working methods. If they discover a new function in the system, in-person training offers the opportunity to immediately implement this in their working methods and adjust settings where necessary.

Another major advantage we experience with the themed training is the ability to focus entirely on one subject with the customer. The users have specifically chosen to learn more about this topic, making it relevant to everyone who attends. For example, an organisation that has no owners will not enrol in the Owners themed training, and a rental organisation is less likely to enrol in Receptionist training. The themed training is a powerful tool for this, as we can respond to the individual needs of our users.

 

For us, the themed trainings are a great opportunity to meet the users. Although you might communicate with them more frequently via email or over the phone, meeting someone in person still gives the best interaction. You can't see through a screen, so you may miss certain signals or interpretations via email. Meeting the users changes this dynamic and contributes to better customer loyalty.

In addition to the thematic trainings we organise on specific modules in the system, we also organise trainings that address, for example, the guest journey or optimising your price lists. With this, we aim for users to understand the purpose behind the functions in the system and recognise how everything is connected.
