How does BEX E-Invoicing work?

The App Store is embedded in your PMS where you simply download the BEX E-Invoicing app. The integration connects your administration to Peppol, the network for exchanging standardized digital documents. Peppol ensures that your invoices suit your partners’ systems, regardless of the software they use.

Because of the connection, you can send e-invoices directly from your PMS:

• The notifications in the PMS allow you to easily resend an invoice if its delivery fails.
• The e-invoices include important information like clear payment deadlines as well as payment instructions such as a direct link to the payment portal and IBAN.

What’s up next for B2B e-invoicing?

While B2B e-invoicing is already mandatory in Belgium, the deadlines for France, Germany and Spain are coming up:

• France: From 1 September 2026 for large businesses, with SMEs following 1 September 2027.
• Germany: From 1 January 2027 for businesses with over €800k in revenue. All other businesses will follow from 1 January 2028.
• Spain: Expected from 2027 for businesses with over €8M, smaller businesses are estimated to follow in 2028.
