i-Checkin SecureBox LR is a comprehensive, all-in-one access automation solution designed to handle the toughest infrastructure challenges across the hospitality and leisure sector. Fully synchronized with Booking Experts, it brings seamless digital check-ins to hotels, holiday resorts, ski chalets, campsites, and glampings.

Unlike standard access systems, SecureBox LR does not rely on the property’s Wi-Fi network and requires zero wiring inside your accommodation units. Powered by Z-Wave Long Range technology, it easily covers your entire property—effortlessly reaching distant locations or penetrating thick walls.

How It Works

• Smart Lock Controller: Installed at a central location (e.g., reception, main office, or hallway). It utilizes its own autonomous, secure cellular IoT connection, completely independent of the property’s Wi-Fi. The device is highly compact (only 5.5 cm wide), mounts easily on a wall or directly inside the electrical panel, and runs on either a 230V AC grid or a 9–28V DC solar panel. An optional backup power module keeps the system and communication online even during a blackout.
• Smart Locks: Installed directly on accommodation doors. They run on standard AA batteries for up to a year, requiring no cables or complex installation.
• Universal Relay Module: Controls main gates, barriers, intercoms, or shared entrance doors. It is fully compatible with any system and can run on standard batteries for over a year or directly from a 230V power grid.
• Massive 1 km Range & Reinforced Concrete Penetration: The controller and the locks communicate via a secure internal Z-Wave Long Range radio channel with a range of up to 1 km or over 4 concrete floors/structures.
• Perimeter access & Lock Flexibility: The system easily connects to your main entrance doors, gates, barriers, or existing intercoms. If the standard locks included in the package don’t fit your design or requirements, you are completely free to choose: the system seamlessly supports 300+ models of Z-Wave smart locks from 42 different manufacturers.
• Smart Cellular IoT: The controller uses its own dedicated cellular network. It automatically scans for the strongest available signal and switches between operators seamlessly, ensuring a 100% stable connection.
• Safe Low-Frequency Signal: Z-Wave operates on low-frequency radio waves, making it completely eco-friendly and safe for health, unlike the high-frequency radiation from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or 5G cellular antennas.

Seamless Automation with Booking Experts

  1. Auto-Sync: Once a booking is confirmed, the system automatically retrieves the reservation data from Booking Experts.
  2. Automated Digital Key: The system automatically generates a personal access link and sends it back to Booking Experts, which then delivers it directly to the guest.
  3. One-Click Entry: By clicking the link, the guest opens a web page with intuitive control buttons and unlocks the gate or bungalow directly from their mobile device. Standard physical keys remain fully functional if needed.
  4. Instant Updates: Any changes or cancellations in Booking Experts are instantly synchronized with i-Checkin system in the background — no administrator involvement needed.

System Limitations

• Cellular Coverage Required: The SecureBox LR controller requires a signal from at least one mobile network operator at the installation site to function properly.
