When our user Wildwood Camping took over a campsite in the Lüneburg Heath in 2023, a barrier system from Schranken.de was already in place. However, there was no direct connection to our PMS, which is why the barrier had to be operated manually - a time-consuming process for employees and guests. However, since our mission is to make all processes more efficient and avoid unnecessary effort, it quickly became clear that a direct interface was needed.
Thanks to the newly created interface between Booking Experts and Schranken.de, check-in is completely automated: Guests receive access to the campsite with their booking and can drive directly to their pitch without having to check in at reception.
It's as simple as that:

Automated email flow: guests receive an email a few days before arrival asking them to submit their vehicle registration number.

Digital guest folder: A link leads to the digital guest folder, which contains all booking information.

License plate registration: As soon as the license plate number is entered, it is stored in the system.

Automatic barrier opening: The camera recognizes the license plate and grants access.

Direct check-in: When the barrier is opened, the guest is also automatically checked in to the booking system.
