In 2017, De Boshoek made the switch to Booking Experts. The old reservation system offered too little flexibility and had limited links with tour operators and partners. Thanks to Booking Experts, the reservation process became more efficient and immediate steps could be taken in the online guest journey.
Since then, there have been many developments, both at De Boshoek and Booking Experts. Together, we have further automated processes, embraced new functionalities and constantly looked for ways to serve the guest even better. De Boshoek is particularly pleased with the ever-growing selection of linking options and apps from Booking Experts. As an example, Chantal mentioned license plates and the resulting automation. Guests can enter their license plates themselves in the My Environment portal, then they can use Moov to drive through the barrier of ST&D, they are automatically checked in, and the front office knows that they can stop by later for introductions and further information.

Booking Experts allows De Boshoek to work flexibly and guest-oriented. A good example is abandoning fixed arrival and departure days. By giving guests the freedom to check in and out on any day of the week, De Boshoek has realised more bookings and higher sales. Also, through their guest app from WeMa Mobile, which is directly linked to Booking Experts, guests can report a malfunction that is immediately scheduled for the technical service. So the front office is taken out of the equation.

With the many links and apps in Booking Experts, De Boshoek can automate many processes. Think of license plate registration, access control through Moov, pool tickets and links with ICY and Easysecure for smart solutions in the park.

The big advantage of the App Store and the other links, according to De Boshoek, is that everything can be found in one screen and everything is linked to a reservation.
