On the edge of the picturesque Limburg countryside lies Camping Geuldal, a family business that has been welcoming guests for three generations. TMaike Vaessen runs this unique site together with her husband, where nature, hospitality and professionalism go hand in hand. "Until ten years ago, we both had other jobs alongside running the campsite," Maike explains. "But the site grew so quickly that my husband decided to work full-time in the business. I followed two years later. With my marketing background, I was able to support that growth effectively."

From reservation book and Excel to Booking Experts
Eight years ago, Camping Geuldal still worked with a physical reservation book and handwritten invoices. "On Sundays I sat all afternoon with pen in hand," Maike laughs. "Then came an Excel plan board, and eventually we made the move to Tommy Booking Support. Back then we had about 100 places, and it worked fine."
But their ambitions were higher. The campsite quickly expanded to 270 pitches and added a variety of accommodation options. "With that growth came a reservation system that could grow with us. That's how we ended up with Booking Experts and Booking Boosters."

Dynamic pricing has now become indispensable at Camping Geuldal. In cooperation with MEER Leisure, we are constantly looking at the optimal price point. "They help us with the right timing and give us the confidence to raise prices where we can. That's really valuable."
There have also been significant gains in guest communications. "The automated emails help us tremendously in the guest journey. And the statistics are not only useful, but also very motivating to share successes with the team."
Maike is clearly enthusiastic about the collaboration. "The system is really idiot-proof. If it is set up properly, everything points itself. For me as a marketer, as well as an entrepreneur, it's exactly what I need."
